Animation Workshop 6 Revision 5 _______________________________________________________________________ Animation Workshop 6 has been updated. This release: - Adds a Favorites window. Pin your favorite Animation Workshop documents and you'll be able to access them with a few clicks no matter where they reside. If you're particularly well organized, note that it allows for as many galleries of favorites as you can think of a use for. See the discussion of Favorites in the Reference document of the Animation Workshop manual for more. - Updates and substantially improves the Scrapbook window, resolving a number of issues. We prefer the word "issues" to "bugs" in this context. - Addresses a potential security issue - if you're using Animation Workshop, we urge you to upgrade to this release pretty much immediately. - Refines a few issues in the rendering engine. - Cleans up a few more minor user-interface issues. - Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that software developers never really stop meddling with. - Updates the documentation. You can download Animation Workshop 6 from: http://www.mindworkshop.com/animwork.html#download ........................................................................ UPGRADES If you have previously registered or upgraded to Animation Workshop 4 or Animation Workshop 5, you can upgrade to Animation Workshop 6 for half the cost of a new single-user license. Please see: http://www.mindworkshop.com/upgrade.html to upgrade. _______________________________________________________________________ 2. Pagan Daybook 6 Revision 5 _______________________________________________________________________ Pagan Daybook 6 has been updated. This release: - Adds a Days Until window. Enter as many future events as you like - Days Until will keep track of them, and provide you with an updated count of the days until they arrive every time you open its window. Days Until will keep track of specific dates, and of repeating dates that occur every year. It will also optionally alert you when your events happen. To access Days Until, select Days from the right-click menu, and then select Days Until from the sub-menu that appears. - Adds a Days Between window. Enter any two dates and instantly know how many days reside between them. The Days Between window is also accessible through the right-click menu's Days option. - Updates and generally refines the library of themes. Note that while all the earlier themes are still available, some of them may have changed their appearances. - Updates the Matrix fill tile library - the previous library was starting to look a bit dated in places. If you have created a custom theme with a Matrix tile background, it might need some fine-tuning. - Updates the observance database - this is a euphemism for "we fixed a few more embarrassing typos." - Addresses a potential security issue - if you're using Pagan Daybook, we urge you to upgrade to this release pretty much immediately. - Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that software developers never really stop meddling with. - Updates the documentation. You can download Pagan Daybook 6 from: http://www.mindworkshop.com/pagan.html#download ........................................................................ UPGRADES If you have previously registered or upgraded to Pagan Daybook 5, you can upgrade to Pagan Daybook 6 for half the cost of a new single-user license. Please see: http://www.mindworkshop.com/upgrade.html to upgrade. _______________________________________________________________________ 3. Graphic Workshop Professional 6 Revision 7 (Additional Notification) _______________________________________________________________________ Graphic Workshop Professional 6 has been updated. This release: - Updates the Favorites window... quite a lot. This release fixes several fairly nettlesome bugs and improves the user interface. - Adds interactive dragging in View mode. When View is showing you a picture that's too large to fit in its window, left-click and drag to scroll around it. This behavior can be disabled in the View mode configuration window. - Adds an option to pause the Slide Show window. Hit the Space bar on your keyboard to pause the show, and hit it again to resume. - Adds an option to the View mode Stitch filter to insert a selectable amount of space in the current paper color between the stitched pictures. - Improves the thumbnail management logic. - Addresses a potential security issue - if you're using Graphic Workshop Professional, we urge you to upgrade to this release pretty much immediately. - Addresses a registration issue in e-Paint UltraLight. - Fixes a bug in GIF Construction Set UltraLight that could make some of the buttons in Animation Wizard appear to be disabled when they weren't, under some builds of Windows. - Fixes a bug in the Archive Manager that could crash Graphic Workshop under some admittedly unlikely circumstances. - Fixes a bug in Search that could do pretty much what the above issue with Archive Manager got up to. - Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that software developers never really stop meddling with. - Updates the documentation. You can download Graphic Workshop Professional 6 from: http://www.mindworkshop.com/gwspro.html#download ........................................................................ UPGRADES If you have previously registered or upgraded to Graphic Workshop Professional 5, you can upgrade to Graphic Workshop Professional 6 for half the cost of a new single-user license.
