     1. The Ultimate Screen Clock 8 Revision 2
     _______________________________________________________________________


     The Ultimate Screen Clock 8 has been updated. This release:


     - Adds the display logic for vertical clocks, these being digital clocks 
       with pairs of digits arranged vertically, rather than side by side.
       Perhaps the name gives it away.


     - Adds the Megalith style, which will surprise no one by being a 
       vertical clock. It comes in two sizes, with and without a bezel.


     - Add the Xenon clock style, which punches through the surface of your 
       monitor and launches itself into a third dimension hitherto unknown
       to clocks. At least, that's our opinion. Xenon is available in both
       horizontal and vertical configurations, in two sizes and three 
       saturated colors.


       Note that some of the new clocks appear in the extra clock style 
       library installer rather than being installed with The Ultimate
       Screen Clock itself. If you currently enjoy a registered 
       installation of The Ultimate Screen Clock, be sure to download the 
       new extra styles library as well, available at our web page, below.
       

     - Fixes several minor issues in the Days Until, Days Since and Days
       Between windows. 


     - Improves the Select Styles window.


     - Enhances the performance of the Net Time functionality.


     - Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that software 
       developers never really stop meddling with.      

     - Updates the documentation.

     2. PNG MNG Construction Set 8 Revision 2 (Second Notification)

     PNG MNG Construction Set 8 has been updated. This release:

 
     - Improves the solid color selection buttons throughout the application 
       with a quick palette selection window - just hold down the Shift key 
       on your keyboard when you click to select a color to see it. There's a 
       complete discussion of this window and how it interacts with the 
       primary Colors window in the section of the Reference document that 
       deals with Color Selection.

       The enhanced color selection features will also apply to the color 
       buttons in any animation plugins hosted by PNG MNG Construction Set.


     - Implements a number of performance improvements in Animation Wizard.

  
     - Fixes a bug in the PNG transparency reader.


     - Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that software 
       developers never really stop meddling with.      


     - Updates the documentation.
