In this release: * *Window Menu:* The Graphic Workshop Window menu can include links to other software ? by default, it will provide you with quick access to Graphic Workshop's ancillary applications and any other current Alchemy Mindworks software on your system. The Window menu logic has been completely rewritten and seriously enhanced. See the discussion of the Window menu in the Reference section of Graphic Workshop documentation. * *View Mode Message:* Graphic Workshop's View mode will apprise you of its mode options the first time you look at a picture. This has been addressed. * *File Tips:* The yellow file tip windows that appear in Graphic Workshop's browsers if you hover your mouse cursor over a thumbnail have been expanded to include more information. * *Sort By Time:* The browser Sort by Time option hitherto sorted by the most recent modification time under some configurations of Windows. It now sorts by the file creation time, as it was intended to do. * *Archive Manager: *Graphic Workshop's stand-alone ancillary Archive Manager application has seen a number of user interface improvements, most notably highlighting the list column that's being sorted by. * *e-Paint UltraLight: *A number of cosmetic issues that appeared when e-Paint UltraLight was run in Windows 11 have been addressed. * *Color Selection:* Several of Graphic Workshop's ancillary applications refused to open their named color tables when a Select Color window appeared, under some configurations of Windows. We've added new functionality to Calendar Wizard, improved its performance and generally refined it to better get along with Windows 10 and 11. (We hasten to add that it still performs admirably under earlier builds of Windows, all the way back to Windows XP, if you're feeling retro.) Among the new features and enhancements to Calendar Wizard 12, you'll find... * ***Quick 64-bit Architecture:* Calendar Wizard is now available in both traditional 32-bit and leading-edge 64-bit editions. The 64-bit software is fast, gets along more favorably with Windows and pretty much never runs into memory issues. We hasten to note that registering or updating to Calendar Wizard 12 will avail you of a registration key that works with either edition... or both, if you're feeling adventurous. * *Windows 11 Compatible:* The version 11 software has been showing some decidedly rough edges under Windows 11, and may stop installing and/or running therein. Calendar Wizard 12 rocks under Windows 11.* * * *Drawing Engine:* A number of metrics and details have been improved in the calendar drawing engines for Calendar Wizard. * *File Association:* An issue that prevented Windows from associating Calendar Wizard's .CLN documents with the Calendar Wizard application under some configurations of Windows has been addressed. * *JPEG Security:* Calendar Wizard's Turbo JPEG library has been updated to the latest release to address some security issues. We'd like to urge all users of Calendar Wizard to update to this release as quickly as possible. * *Performance: *Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that software developers never really stop meddling with. * *Documentation:* Updates the documentation. Ripper comes in coarse- and fine-tooth versions, in three sizes. * *JPEG Security:* The Ultimate Screen Clock's Turbo JPEG library has been updated to the latest release to address some security issues.
