Graphic Workshop Professional 12 Revision 5

Graphic Workshop Professional 12 has been updated.

In this release:

  * *Window Menu:* The Graphic Workshop Window menu can include links to
other software — by default, it will provide you with quick access
to Graphic Workshop's ancillary applications and any other current
Alchemy Mindworks software on your system. The Window menu logic has
been completely rewritten and seriously enhanced. See the discussion
of the Window menu in the Reference section of Graphic Workshop
    documentation.

  * *View Mode Message:* Graphic Workshop's View mode will apprise you
of its mode options the first time you look at a picture. The
notification window includes an option to disable this message in
the future. If you use Graphic Workshop primarily to view pictures
from other applications, the option to disable the prompt window
could have been ignored between sessions. This has been addressed.

  * *File Tips:* The yellow file tip windows that appear in Graphic
Workshop's browsers if you hover your mouse cursor over a thumbnail
have been expanded to include more information.

  * *Sort By Time:* The browser Sort by Time option hitherto sorted by
the most recent modification time under some configurations of
Windows. It now sorts by the file creation time, as it was intended
    to do.

  * *Archive Manager: *Graphic Workshop's stand-alone ancillary Archive
Manager application has seen a number of user interface
improvements, most notably highlighting the list column that's being
    sorted by.

  * *e-Paint UltraLight: *A number of cosmetic issues that appeared when
e-Paint UltraLight was run in Windows 11 have been addressed.

  * *Color Selection:* Several of Graphic Workshop's ancillary
applications refused to open their named color tables when a Select
Color window appeared, under some configurations of Windows. Now
    they do.

If you haven't experienced Graphic Workshop Professional 12 as yet,

enhanced functionality.

    Announcing Calendar Wizard 12

Calendar Wizard 12 has been released.

We've added new functionality to Calendar Wizard, improved its
performance and generally refined it to better get along with Windows 10
and 11. (We hasten to add that it still performs admirably under earlier
builds of Windows, all the way back to Windows XP, if you're feeling retro.)

Among the new features and enhancements to Calendar Wizard 12, you'll
find...

  * ***Quick 64-bit Architecture:* Calendar Wizard is now available in
    both traditional 32-bit and leading-edge 64-bit editions. The 64-bit
software is fast, gets along more favorably with Windows and pretty
much never runs into memory issues. We hasten to note that
registering or updating to Calendar Wizard 12 will avail you of a
registration key that works with either edition... or both, if
    you're feeling adventurous.

  * *Windows 11 Compatible:* The version 11 software has been showing
some decidedly rough edges under Windows 11, and may stop installing
and/or running therein. Calendar Wizard 12 rocks under Windows 11.*

    *
  * *Drawing Engine:* A number of metrics and details have been improved
in the calendar drawing engines for Calendar Wizard.

  * *File Association:* An issue that prevented Windows from associating
Calendar Wizard's .CLN documents with the Calendar Wizard
application under some configurations of Windows has been addressed.

  * *JPEG Security:* Calendar Wizard's Turbo JPEG library has been
updated to the latest release to address some security issues.

We'd like to urge all users of Calendar Wizard to update to this
    release as quickly as possible.

  * *Performance: *Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that
software developers never really stop meddling with.

  * *Documentation:* Updates the documentation.

PNG MNG Construction Set 12 Revision 2

PNG MNG Construction Set 12 has been updated. In this release:

  * *Convert to RGB:* An issue in the Convert to RGB function that
created true-color animations with inaccurate or incorrect
background information in some circumstances has been addressed.

  * *Export to GIF:* The Export to GIF option has been updated to nail a
bug that caused it to create invalid GIF documents under some
    configurations of Windows.*

    *
  * *Color and Balance:* The Color and Balance window has been updated
to fix a problem with its real-time preview pane and to address some
document creation issues for RGBA source animations.

  * *Convert to Gray:* The Convert to Gray function has been updated to
fix a background gray-level inaccuracy for some source animations.

  * *Convert to Mono:* The Convert to Mono function has also been
updated to fix a background gray-level inaccuracy for some source
animations. It was a pervasive and sneaky bug, and now it's history.

  * *Frame:* The Frame window has been updated to correctly handle some
RGBA source animations that hitherto confused it.

  * *Shadow:* The Shadow window has been updated to address a clipping
issue that occurred with really large shadow offsets.

  * *Performance: *Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that
software developers never really stop meddling with.

  * *Documentation:* Updates the documentation.

Announcing The Ultimate Screen Clock 12

The Ultimate Screen Clock 12 has been released.

We've added new functionality to The Ultimate Screen Clock, improved its
performance and generally refined it to better get along with Windows 10
and 11. (We hasten to add that it still performs admirably under earlier
builds of Windows, all the way back to Windows XP, if you're feeling retro.)

Among the new features and enhancements to The Ultimate Screen Clock 12,
you'll find...

  * ***Quick 64-bit Architecture:* The Ultimate Screen Clock is now
available in both traditional 32-bit and leading-edge 64-bit
editions. The 64-bit software is fast, gets along more favorably
with Windows and pretty much never runs into memory issues. We
hasten to note that registering or updating to The Ultimate Screen
Clock 12 will avail you of a registration key that works with either
edition... or both, if you're feeling adventurous.

  * *Windows 11 Compatible:* The version 11 software has been showing
some decidedly rough edges under Windows 11, and may stop installing
and/or running therein. The Ultimate Screen Clock 12 rocks under
    Windows 11.*

    *
  * *****Fathom Clock Style:* The Fathom style evokes the sinister,
hidden world beneath the waves. Alternately, it could just be a
fevered steampunk dream with a lot of rusty bolts holding it
together. It comes in three sizes, and is guaranteed to keep working
    right down to crush depth.

  * *Screen Saver Backgrounds:* The library of fractal screen saver
backgrounds included with The Ultimate Screen Clock has been
augmented with new universes of alternate reality.

  * *******Typography**Clock Style**:* Channeling the arcana of typeface
design, the Typography style is complex, intricate and it has its
attitude turned up to eleven. It comes in white and black editions,
with and without drop shadows behind its characters and in
transition versions in which its digits dissolve into each other.

  * *******Ripper**Clock Style**:* A funky habitue of countless
workshops, garages and family-run lumber yards, this classic saw
blade clock is a timeless echo of an epoch when no one had figured
out how to re-manufacture expensive carbide-tipped saw blades
cost-effectively, and they all found themselves afflicted with clock
movements rather than being recycled. Ripper comes in coarse- and
    fine-tooth versions, in three sizes.

  * *JPEG Security:* The Ultimate Screen Clock's Turbo JPEG library has
been updated to the latest release to address some security issues.

We'd like to urge all users of The Ultimate Screen Clock to update
to this release as quickly as possible.

  * *Performance: *Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that
software developers never really stop meddling with.

  * *Documentation:* Updates the documentation.

Click on the blue button to download The Ultimate Screen Clock 12.

Note that in addition to installing The Ultimate Screen Clock, you'll
probably also want to install The Ultimate Screen Clock *Extra Styles
library*, which will augment it with wealth of additional clock styles,
including some of the ones mentioned herein. The Extra Styles library is
also accessible through this big blue button.
