Graphic Workshop Professional 15 Revision 4

<http://www.mindworkshop.com/gwspro.html>

*Graphic Workshop Professional 15* has been updated.

*In this release:*

  * *Memory Leak:* A resource memory issue that could cause Graphic
Workshopto terminate unexpectedly has been addressed.

  * *Cloud Textures:* The fractal cloud texture generator that appears
in Graphic Workshop's Fractals and textures window, and in several
ancillary applications, has been updated to address a buffer overrun
that could crash the software calling it.

  * *Fractal Textures: *The fractal texture generator that appears in
Graphic Workshop's Fractals and textures window, and in several
ancillary applications, has been updated to improve its aspect ratio
management, such that non-square textures look more natural.

  * *Crop:* The Crop Properties window now includes a History field, to
remember and instantly recall your crop settings. Note that if you
don't find this as helpful as we did, it can be disabled by
unselecting Enable History Lists in Setup.

  * *Transform:* A number of cosmetic user interface issues have been
    addressed in the Transform window.

  * *EXIF Editor: *Pretty much the same cosmetic user interface issues
have been addressed in the EXIF Editor window.

  * *File Tip Sizes: *Graphic Workshop's file tips —the yellow windows
that appear if you hover your mouse cursor over a thumbnail in one
of Graphic Workshop's browser windows —now include the file
dimensions and color depths for the graphics they pertain to.In the
event that you're running Graphic Workshop on a slow or very busy
computer and you find that this feature causes the file tip windows
to appear with an unacceptable delay, you can disable this feature
by unselecting Show File Tip Sizes in Setup.

    Announcing Presentation Wizard 15

<http://www.mindworkshop.com/prspro.html>

*Presentation Wizard 15* has been released.

We've added new functionality to Presentation Wizard, improved its
performance and generally refined it to better get along with Windows 10
and 11. (We hasten to add that it still performs admirably under earlier
builds of Windows, all the way back to Windows XP, if you're feeling retro.)

Among the new features and enhancements to Presentation Wizard 15,
you'll find...

  * *Speed:* A quicker and more efficient architecture to make the most
of the latest releases of Windows.

  * *PNG Security:* The Presentation Wizard PNG library has been updated
to the latest release to address several potential security and
performance issues. We'd like to take this opportunity to urge all
users of Presentation Wizardto update to this release, 'coz the
universe has a lot of really bad people in it.

The current version of the PNG library is now available in the About
    → Credits window. It's currently 1.6.40.*

    *
  * *JPEG:* The Presentation Wizard JPEG library has been updated to
version 3.0.1 to address a security issue. We'd like to take this
opportunity to urge all users of Presentation Wizardto update to
    this release.

  * *WebP:* The Presentation WizardWebP library has been updated to
version 1.3.2 to address a security issue. We'd like to take this
opportunity to urge all users of Presentation Wizardto update to
    this release.

  * *Memory Leak:* A resource memory issue that could cause Presentation
Wizardto terminate unexpectedly has been addressed.

  * *Themes:* An issue in the theme interface common to most Alchemy
Mindworks software that could leak resources and occasionally crash
the applications in question has been mercilessly stomped.

  * *WIX Installer:* A bug in the version field of the installer
    creation logic has been addressed.

  * *Private Documents:* Presentation Wizard optionally can create its
documents without storing creator information. Enable the Save
Without Creator Information option in Setup.

  * *Drawing Engine:* A number of metrics and details have been improved
in the Presentation drawing engines for Presentation Wizard.

  * *Performance: *Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that
software developers never really stop meddling with.
