Graphic Workshop Professional 15 Revision 7

<http://www.mindworkshop.com/gwspro.html>

*Graphic Workshop Professional 15* has been updated.

*In this release:*

  * *JPEG:* The Graphic WorkshopJPEG library has been updated to version
3.0.2 to address a security issue. We'd like to take this
opportunity to urge all users of Graphic Workshopto update to this
    release.

  * *PNG Security:* TheGraphic WorkshopPNG library has been updated to
the latest release to address several potential security and
performance issues. We'd like to take this opportunity to urge all
users of Graphic Workshopto update to this release.

The current version of the PNG library is now available in the About
    → Credits window. It's currently 1.6.41.*
    *
  * *Matrix:* A bug in the Graphic Workshop Matrix window that could
cause it to use low-resolution images and create very fuzzy matrices
as a result under some configurations of Windows has been
    mercilessly, and entirely, stomped.

This was a very sneaky and invidious bug.

  * *Registration Key Window:* To assist users of Alchemy Mindworks'
software who encounter issues with the Registration Key window, it
now includes helpful audio prompts. It talks. You'll see a message
to this effect when you open it to update Graphic Workshop.

We hasten to add that if you don't find the spoken prompts as cool
as we did, you can disable them in the initial prompt window, or in
Graphic Workshop'sRegistration Key window by clicking on Silence.

Disabling the spoken prompts in any Alchemy Mindworks application
will disable them for all our software, for the rest of time... or
until you explicitly turn them back on by clicking on Sound in the
    Registration Key window.

  * *View Mode Filters:* The Open and Save logic for the View mode
Filters window has been updated to address a number of Windows
issues. Depending on your configuration of Windows, it hitherto
could have refused to recognize filter types with spaces in their names.

The resolution for this issue was to replace all the spaces in the
Open and Save file extensions with underscores. If you have any
saved filters, you might need to either manually rename their file
extensions or select All Files in the Filter Open window to find them.

The Open logic has also been updated to address an issue wherein
newly opened filters didn't always update their respective controls
    correctly.

  * *AVI:* Several issues in Graphic Workshop's AVI file handling that
could cause it to misbehave when it was reading or writing very
large AVI documents have been addressed. The documentation for AVI
in the list of formats has been updated as well.

  * *Presentation Wizard UltraLight:* An issue that could cause the
client area of the Presentation Wizard UltraLight page view and
editing windows to be calculated incorrectly under some
configutaions of Windows has been addressed.

  * *Calendar Wizard UltraLight: *Nails a bug that caused the
traditional Alchemy Mindworks soft buttons in Calendar Wizard's
windows to be displayed as hard-edged Windows buttons. Admittedly,
this was unlikely to bring about the immediate demise of
civilization as we know it, but now it's history.

  * *Performance:* Several more performance improvements have been
    implemented throughout the application.

  * *Page Editor:* A bug in the page editor that could see all the
objects on a page spontaneously disappear for no apparent reason
under some configurations of Windows has been dispatched.

  * *Save Document:* An issue with the Presentation file save logic that
could corrupt the page object lists of documents under some
configurations of Windows... resulting in some very weirdly
    misplaced objects thereafter... is history.

  * *Drawing Engine:* A number of metrics and details have been improved
in the Presentation drawing engines for Presentation Wizard.

  * *Performance: *Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that
software developers never really stop meddling with.

  * *Documentation:* Updates the documentation.

The Ultimate Screen Clock 15 Revision 2

<http://www.mindworkshop.com/clock.html>

*The Ultimate Screen Clock 15* has been updated.

*In this release:
*

  * *Zepher clock style:Zephyr Style:* Complex, intriguing,
extra-dimensional and almost certainly neo-something, the Zephyr
style is so named because it suggests a gentle breeze of
enlightenment... and because we’ve long wanted a style name that
    began with Z.

Zebra is still a work in progress.

The Zephyr style comes in three colors, two levels of dark and
sinister and in alternate digital dissolve versions to keep your
attention TIG welded to your monitor. The example clock shown above
doesn’t begin to fully express its coolness — trust us.

  * *PNG Security:* The Ultimate Screen Clock's PNG library has been
updated to the latest release to address several potential security
and performance issues. We'd like to take this opportunity to urge
all users of The Ultimate Screen Clock to update to this release,
'coz the universe has a lot of really bad people in it.

The current version of the PNG library is now available in the About
    → Credits window. It's currently 1.6.40.*

    *
  * *JPEG:* The The Ultimate Screen Clock'sJPEG library has been updated
to version 3.0.1 to address a security issue. We'd like to take this
opportunity to urge all users of The Ultimate Screen Clockto update
    to this release.

  * *WebP:* The The Ultimate Screen Clock'sWebP library has been updated
to version 1.3.2 to address a security issue. We'd like to take this
opportunity to urge all users of The Ultimate Screen Clockto update
    to this release.

  * *Registration Key Window:* To assist users of Alchemy Mindworks'
software who encounter issues with the Registration Key window, it
now includes helpful audio prompts. It talks. You'll see a message
to this effect when you open it to update The Ultimate Screen Clock.

as we did, you can disable them in the initial prompt window, or at
any time The Ultimate Screen Clock'sRegistration Key window by

will disable them for all our software, for the rest of time... or
until you explicitly turn them back on by clicking on Sound in the
    Registration Key window.

  * *Memory Leak:* A resource memory issue that could cause The Ultimate
Screen Clockto terminate unexpectedly has been addressed.

  * *Performance: *Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that
software developers never really stop meddling with.

  * *Documentation:* Updates the documentation.
