<p>Well, this is embarrassing.</p>
<p>The speedy new JPEG processor in Graphic Workshop
Professional 9 turned out to have a very obscure bug
that could cause it to write invalid JPEG files,
depending on the image dimensions and the version of
Windows involved.</p>
<p>The bug has been stomped, and Graphic Workshop
Professional 9 has been updated to revision 10,
available at our web page.</p>
<p>If you installed Graphic Workshop Professional
9revision 9 this weekend, we recommend that you
download and install revision 10 to make sure you
don't encounter this bug in the future.</p>
