1. Announcing The Calendar Wizard 7
_______________________________________________________________________
Calendar Wizard 7 has been released.
We've refined the internal architecture of Calendar Wizard to make it
faster, more memory-efficient and better able to take advantage of the
functionality of Windows 7, 8 and 10.
While most of the seriously cool changes embodied in Calendar Wizard 7
are "under the hood," users of the latest release will notice that it's
noticeably quicker, especially for functions that call for significant
system resources, such as managing large graphics in your calendars.
The updated architecture will also allow us to add new features to
Calendar Wizard that were impractical or genuinely
impossible under version 6.
- Addresses several metrics issues in the calendar print logic.
- Modifies the registration logic to work around Windows 10's recent
updates, which have been randomly de-registering software when they
sneak silently onto your computer. The sudden appearance of the "this
key is already registered" message should be a distant memory.
- Updates lots of user-interface issues throughout the application.
- Calendar Wizard 7 uses an altered installation structure
that's way more resistant to being broken by malfunctioning and
overly-paranoid third-party security software. We're reasonably
certain that the "Can't create specified file" error is history.
- Updates UpToDate.
- Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that software
developers never really stop meddling with.
- Updates the documentation.

If you registered or upgraded a registration for Calendar Wizard 6 on or
after April 1, 2016, you’re welcome to a free upgrade to Calendar
Wizard 7.
If you registered or upgraded a registration for Calendar Wizard 6 prior
to April 1, 2016, you can upgrade to Calendar Wizard 7 for half the cost
of a new single-user license.
When you first run Calendar Wizard 7, it will check to see if you have a
registration for Calendar Wizard 6 on your system. If it finds one, it
will display a window to tell you which of the foregoing upgrade options
is applicable. Click on the Upgrade button to visit our web page and
request or order an upgrade.
The upgrade window can subsequently be accessed through the Help >
Upgrade Manager > Upgrade from Previous Version item of Calendar
Wizard 7's menu bar.

2. GIF Construction Set Professional 7 Revision 2

GIF Construction Set Professional 7 has been updated. This release:

PLUGINS
All the animation plugins for GIF Construction Set Professional have
been upgraded to run with GIF Construction Set Professional 7.
If you have registered one or more plugins for a previous release of
GIF Construction Set, your existing registration keys are still
valid. You'll just need to download the version 7 installers for your
plugins.

IMPORTANT: If you have plugins installed under GIF Construction Set 6 or
PNG MNG Construction Set 6 and you plan to uninstall GIF Construction
Set 6 or PNG MNG Construction Set 6 to replace them with the new
version 7 software, please be sure uninstall all your version 6 plugins,
and then uninstall GIF Construction Set 6 and PNG MNG Construction Set 6.
If you have a number of animation plugins installed on your system,
you'll probably find them quicker to uninstall through the Windows
Control Panel's Programs and Features applet.

3. Announcing The Ultimate Screen Clock 7 (Second Notification)

The Ultimate Screen Clock 7 has been released.
We've refined the internal architecture of The Ultimate Screen Clock to
make it faster, more memory-efficient and better able to take advantage
of the functionality of Windows 7, 8 and 10.
While most of the seriously cool changes embodied in The Ultimate Screen
Clock 7 are "under the hood," users of the latest release will notice
that it's noticeably quicker, especially for functions that call for
significant system resources, such as running complex animated clocks.
The updated architecture will also allow us to add new features to
The Ultimate Screen Clock that were impractical or genuinely
impossible under version 6.
- Adds the Neural Network style. A logic-rendered seven-segment digital
style like Ion Drive, this one uses lots and lots and lots of blinking
LEDs to simulate the endless flow of global data. Alternately, it can
look kind of festive, depending upon your mood. Comes in three sizes
and lots of colors.
Note that most of the Neural Network clocks reside in the extra clock
installer, as they're somewhat huge.
- Fixes some metrics issues in the Ion Drive style.
- Addresses a number of issues in the Days Until and Days between
windows.
- Improves the speed and efficiency of the clock rendering engine.
- Modifies the registration logic to work around Windows 10's recent
updates, which have been randomly de-registering software when they
sneak silently onto your computer. The sudden appearance of the "this

- Updates lots of user-interface issues throughout the application.
