Screen Saver Construction Set 9Revision 3
Screen Saver Construction Set 9 has been Updated. This release:
* Adds *WebP* support — import still images and leading-edge
animations from WebP documents.
The WebP format was developed by Google. Supported by the
current versions of all the major web browsers, it replaces PNG
and JPEG with a twenty-first century graphics standard. It
allows for true-color imaging and full alpha transparency.

Graphic Workshop PostScript (EPS, PS, AI, PDF) Plugin Revision 2
The Graphic Workshop Professional 9 PostScript plugin has been
updated. This release addresses a number of configuration issues
that could cause the plugin to misread some documents.
It also fixes an installation bug that could prevent it from
correctly configuring Graphic Workshop to use the plugin to display
EPS graphics, rather than its own internal — and less capable — EPS
reader.

Presentation Wizard 9 has been Updated. This release:

* Updates the *JPEG functionality* in Presentation Wizard to be
blindingly, shockingly *fast*... and possibly violate a few laws
of physics.
The new JPEG reader also addresses a number of potential
*security holes* which could have allowed a maliciously-crafted
JPG file to execute arbitrary code and compromise a computer
running previous releases of Presentation Wizard.
We urge everyone running Presentation Wizard to update to this
release really, really soon — some time yesterday would be ideal.

version 9*, please see the *Upgrades***section, below.

e-Paint 9 Revision 3 ***(additional notification)***
e-Paint 9 has been updated. This release:
* Adds *WebP* support — create, open and edit leading-edge WebP
web page graphics.
The WebP format was developed by Google. Supported by the
current versions of all the major web browsers, it replaces PNG
and JPEG with a twenty-first century graphics standard. It
allows for true-color imaging and optional lossy compression for
those occasions when you really need your graphic files to be
smaller.
Best of all, WebP graphics can be added to a web page using the
same HTML coding as would be the case for a JPG file.

* Updates e-Paint so it will appear in the Windows Explorer or
File Explorer *Open With* window for all the file types it knows

* Updates the e-Paint *drawing engine* to address some peculiar
behaviors when it was confronted with large outline sizes,
non-standard fonts and complex polygons.

Graphic Workshop Professional 9 has been updated. This release:
* Updates the *WebP support* for Graphic Workshop. Several format
issues in the initial release have been addressed, and the WebP
reader's performance has been improved for Graphic Workshop and
all the ancillary applications that support WebP.
* Updates Graphic Workshop so it will appear in the Windows
Explorer or File Explorer *Open With* window for most of the
file types it knows how to open. The Graphic Workshop ancillary
applications that open files — e-Paint UltraLight, GIF
Construction Set UltraLight, Montage UltraLight and Archive
Manager — will also appear in Open With for the file types in
question.
* Adds a trap to*GWS Camera* to prevent multiple instances of the
screen capture from running concurrently... which was confusing.
* Fixes a bug that could cause the *Help* in the *Filters* and
*Textures* windows to fail to open under some builds of Windows
and with some web browsers.
* Improves the *Prompt for Filename* option of the GWS Camera
screen capture.
* Adds controls to the*e-Paint UltraLight* and *Montage
UltraLight* Save As Windows to allow the WebP and JPEG write
parameters to be adjusted when you save a document.
* Updates the documentation.
* Addresses a number of GDI and performance issues that software
developers never really stop meddling with.
